On day one it is empty. Someone has to fill it with the company's data and teach it how things get done there. That stays with the customer, not once but continuously. That is exactly the work naid takes on, and naid runs the system afterwards. - **What makes naid different from AI consulting?** Consulting ends with a report on what would be possible. With naid the customer gets the finished solution, which naid then keeps running. What can be solved is on the table in the first conversation. - **Is naid an AI operating system?** “AI operating system” and “AI OS” are vendor terms for a platform that a company fills with its own data and then runs itself. naid is not that. naid solves a business problem and keeps the solution running afterwards. The system behind it is called naidos. It is run by naid and is not sold separately. - **Why not build it yourself?** Building an AI agent is within reach today. That is where the work starts. It needs the data prepared, the processes recorded, plus roles, permissions, security and someone to run it. With the next agent it all starts again, because no AI foundation was built along the way. - **Who runs the system?** naid does. Hosting, maintenance and security come from one place. Anything involving sensitive or personal data runs on dedicated infrastructure if the customer wants it to. The customer has a say in which AI models run underneath. Their own model on their own servers is possible. - **Who owns what is created with naid?** Everything that builds up about the customer's company belongs to them: their data, their processes, their AI foundation. naidos is the system the work is done with. The customer has access to it for as long as the two work together. - **Can this be connected to existing systems?** The existing systems stay where they are. naidos works on the data and documents where they sit today. What needs connecting is clarified before the start. - **What does the EU AI Act mean?** naidos is built to meet the requirements of the EU AI Act. Traceability, human oversight and documentation are built in, not retrofitted. Which obligations apply in detail depends on the purpose and on who deploys the system. That is clarified in the project. - **What does naid cost?** A first project starts at EUR 6,000. Typical projects come to between EUR 20,000 and EUR 30,000. Running it costs from EUR 2,200 a month, typically around EUR 4,400. The price depends on the scope of the solution, on the state of the data and on how many solutions run in how many areas of the business. Dedicated infrastructure is available on request and is charged separately. naid gives the fixed price up front; there are no hourly rates. - **How does working together start?** With a conversation: the business problem first, the technology second.
